A large 3/4 size flatback Maggini model orchestral double bass. This was originally a 3 string bass, modified to the current configuration which includes a Stenholm C extension. This bass is unlabeled, and ascribed to Peter Wamsley. We see the influence of John Hart and William Valentine. One piece lower rib. Maggini-style double purfling on the belly and back.
