German/Czech 3/4 size workshop bass circa 1950. Eb neck. 42" string length. Tone is very clear, balanced, and warm. This bass bears the label of Jerome Thibouville-Lamy. The varnish looks like a JTL product. Wondering if the JTL factory ever needed to import some semi-finished instruments to keep up with demand (?).
