Jago Peternella (1886-1970) was a violin maker and violinist who first came to America in 1912. He moved often, and worked in Venice, Italy and in a handful of American cities. This violin was made in California, near the end of his life. One piece back measures 14” in length. With a certificate from Kenneth Warren & Son, Ltd.
