A 3/4 size unlabeled Italian flatback bass of the Neapolitan School, 19th century. The top is partially slab cut, with long Gagliano-style ff holes. The back is flat and without purfling, with an ebony strip running down the center seam. The scroll is not original. Very good unrestored condition. This bass feels great, and the sound is warm, dark, and powerful.
