We commissioned several instruments from the late Gus Kaminski (our former master repairman) and Wladek Stopka. This viola is 15 3/4" in size and made in 1993 of European tonewood that was approximately 45 years old at that time. This viola has a warm sound, and it rings well. Stamped W. Stopka on the inside back plate.
